I hope you had some time to consider, what your three WINsuits are (reminder link your 3 greatest strengths (use these to accomplish anything, stop smoking, weight loss, etc.) I know it’s hard though, you probably thought about it for a while and either didn’t come up with anything or came up with something but you’re not certain. I am going to share mine with you because it will become more clear on how to discover yours.
My WINsuits™
Mine are frugality, resourcefulness and winning mind linguistics, and here’s how the first one formed, first Frugality. My parents grew up incredibly poor, in military work camps and then in orphanages, without even a pair of shoes, one slice of bread a day, and having only one pair of used clothing for much of their childhood. They couldn’t help but think at least some of that was normal. My parents, plain and simple, did not waste anything as I grew up. In the winter the heat was set at 62, and there was no AC in the summer.
The first time I ate out at a restaurant was only because my mother won a dinner for two at her woman’s club for a local Chinese restaurant and my father didn’t want to go so she brought me. I was about 13 and I will never forget how amazed I was. I was smiling from ear to ear, and I couldn’t believe that a waitress would come over and ask what you wanted to eat and that I selected from a menu. I remember like yesterday being so elated.
When I initially went to school in kindergarten, I didn’t have much clothing and that wasn’t a problem for me. It seemed perfectly normal until maybe second or third grade, when some of the other kids pointed it out. Even when I became wealthy, I struggled, buying first-class tickets for my family for vacations, or eating at fancy restaurants. My thought always, I’d rather save that money and give it to the poor or for the church or to someone else that really needs it, a mirror image of my parent’s ideals.
Building on your existing WINsuits
Now let me give you an example of how to build on an existing WINsuit. First you may have to identify does this trait have any problems. For example, frugality may cause being cheap and in turn could cause inferior quality so I may want to define this quality in a carefully structured WINstruction relating to frugality.
So here’s some that I have used in the past and every so often I continue to use. I have this innate ability to instantly detect waste; or as a consultant I can go into a company and instantly detect waste; or I set up systems to detect waste that always work; or I pay the proper amount for quality I never overpay; or I know how to buy ads for pennies on the dollar; or I never overpay for anything but I’m more than happy to pay for high quality and the very best team members; or I have an extraordinary drive to be able to provide for my kids; or I love helping people develop traits for financial independence; or I am motivated to help engineer people into the person they want to be so they can be self-sufficient; or, I always have great ideas for any financial challenge; or I forever passionately help people understand WINosp so they can provide for themselves and their families.
Can you see how I took the WINsuit frugality and built on it, to be motivated to help other people? The truth of the matter is that every single attribute/beliefs/security structure/traits that I have created for myself is rooted in my three WINsuits. And naturally, because they are formed by the core of my very being, they start with who I “is” at my very core, at my very being, and work without effort or effortlessly and always motivate me to keep the fire alive, because of where they are rooted. Does that make sense?
I know, you’re still confused, all on asking you to do right now is think about something the form you into the you are that has its roots when you’re very small, probably some your very first memories. Likely, between three and six years old, maybe even seven or eight.
What happened to you, during that time that formed you into who you are today remember don’t think it has to be a positive attribute/trait because it doesn’t it just has to be something, good or bad, negative or positive it don’t matter.
